Supporting Students and Hydrogen Education
Each year, the Hydrogen Student Design Contest provides students with an incredibly unique, in-depth look into the hydrogen industry. Sponsors of the Contest are supoprting the education of the next generation of engineers and leaders in clean energy.
We rely 100% on the generous contributions of sponsors to support the operation of each year’s Contest. Nearly half of the funds used for the Contest go back to the winning students through awards, airfare, accommodations, and conference registrations.
About the Contest and Sponsorship Benefits
The Hydrogen Student Design Contest attracts the interest of hundreds of students from around the world. The winning designs are seen by hundreds of industry leaders during a session of the World Hydrogen Energy Conference in Toronto, Canada.
Benefits of sponsorship include:
Exposure and Recognition. As a sponsor of the Contest, your company will be viewed as leading the charge for the advancement of the hydrogen and fuel cell industries. Sponsors of the Contest are prominently featured in outside media mentions and all Contest promotions. Sponsors receive their organization name and logo in all contest publications, marketing tools, press releases, and on the contest website. Sponsors will also be recognized during a session at World Hydrogen Energy Conference 2012 in Toronto, Canada in June 2012.
Access to Students and Designs. The Contest is promoted to engineering and business school students at universities worldwide. As a sponsor, you will have a direct pipeline to potential interns and future employees that possess valuable experience in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. All sponsors also receive copies of all Contest entries and a seat on the judging panel.
